Hi all, we're going to Muscat in 2 weeks and would like to visit the desert on a day trip, we're only in Oman for 3 days so don't want it to be too much of a trek from the city. I only seem to be able to find trips to wahiba sands which I think will be too far in the time we have. We will be a party of 7 with teenage kids and grandparents so would also possibly need a larger car or 2 cars.
