I would never have thought to go this route. I've been looking for something that weighted 100 tons to dampen vibrations. I use a rough beveler now made from aluminum and a router. I still spend a fair amount of time straightening and pressing nodes, but it is such a liberating machine! Must cut 4 hours off of building a 2/2 rod.

They can be sharpened thus able to last a lifetime for a regular builder, the HSS 30 deg milling cutters had many more teeth and were reversed then discarded after a time.
